The journey of a true star started as a Libra on the day of september 24, in the yesr of the symbol Roaster.
A shining star named Susan Roshan was born to her parents , Manouchehr and Fereshteh Roshan in the city Tehran, the capitol of her countries soul , Iran.As a child she had graised through friends and families hearts with her wonderful. yet naive, performancesof a four year old little girl. As her childhood expanded to let her grow, so did her dreams. Her heart was dedicated to train in the medical field, so she could help the people of the word with her knowledge.But soething was always lit like a fire in the back of her heart, it was her passion passion of becoming what she is today, a true star of her country iran. Manouchehr and Fereshteh Roshan decided to expand their horizons and move to the United States of America with their dughter Susan and younger son Payman . Susan was at the age of 12 when she arrived to America , which was know as the land of dreams. She quickly learned the spoken language of English, and fastly persuied her education and graduated from Anaheim High School in Orange County. She moved onto another level of her life after her graduation, which involved her deepest feelings in the medical field. Susan went to Huntington beach college and trained to be a medical assistant, jast as she had wanted. But something was burning hotter than her passion for medicine...it was her passion for singing. After her parent's permission to persue her long-life dream, Susan decided to conquire our hearts with her voice.The story of a naive 18 year old teenager began with her first album "Khakestar", which entered the persian word of pop as a thumb up.she never seettled with anything less than she believed in, that's why she recorded her second Album "Dooroogh Nagoo", which was major hit. The debut single on this album which was the same title as her album, became one of the most saught after songs in the history of persian music.A wonderful ballad, yet gherti, that spoke bitter but yet passionately about love. When this album debuted and the single as well, Susan started a word tour to promote it. Traveling with her mother Fereshteh Roshan at her side, to guide her through her first concerts. While drinking milk with honey, to soften out her voice before her performances, she enjoyed touring with many other famous persian singers such as Andy, who is also one of her closest friends.Susan stepped into a different dimension of music in 1995, when her album "Bibi Eshgh" came out. The music that was in this, varied from trendy persian dance to high class clubbing pop music.Susan Roshan concured the persian pop Music in the word, when her hit single "Aria" debuted. she made the breathtaking music video of "Aria" which cost around $100,000, and was diredted by one of Iran's truest talents, Farzan Delju.The video made it on MTV international, which is aired for foreign stars, which was played wordwide.The persian community stopped at the moment that "Aria" was played on TV, through the beauty and the hard work of 9 months shooting.Through this effort, Susan won her place in the heart of persian pop and became Iran's "Bibi Eshgh/Queen of Hearts".Her albums added up when she recorded a trendy style with pop singer Siavash in the album "didar".she then moved on to her traditional persian music with her album "Shahzade Eshgh".Susan's latest work is her album "Hamkelasi", which has wonderful songs written by another of Iran's truest treasures, jaklin.
Susan's wish, like any other dedicated persian, is to return to her country, to cry with the grieft of her people, and yet, to rejoice with their happiness.To her fans, she wishes not to be a singer for them, but a friend .A friend which needs the love of the people of iran and the word, to sing...just like the air to breathe. Every story has an ending, but this one is a neverending one, just like susan's dream about
singing.
